LOCATION: En route centers, terminals and Regional Offices nationwide
THEY ARE: Support staffers support the work and over-all tasks of air traffic controllers. These additional tasks include quality assurance, training, and personnel.
STATUS: NATCA won the election on July 7, 2002
INTEREST TO NATCA: They enable controllers to perform their duties more efficiently. They perform corollary projects that assist controllers in their daily assignments. Because many of support staffers were former controllers, they have an intimate understanding of their needs.
