AIRPORTS ORGANIZATION (ARP)
SIZE OF THE BARGAINING UNIT: 263.
LOCATION: All regions, except the FAA Eastern Region office. Includes all
Airports District Offices (ADOs) nationwide.
THEY ARE: Employees are responsible for the distribution of all airport improvement funds, coordination of airport design, oversight of land purchases and annual safety inspections.
STATUS: NATCA won the election with 65 percent of the vote. The FLRA issued its Certification of Representative document on Aug. 31, 2000.
INTEREST TO NATCA: It is important to coordinate all of the above functions that impact
Air Traffic Control (ATC). This organization works as a liaison with ATC in the development of ATC functions within airports.
